A classic video game gets a new life… in 3D.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.      The Legend of Zelda series of video games from Nintendo has been one of the top sellers of all time.   It goes back 25 years.   Now Nintendo has brought back The Legend of Zelda:  Ocarina of Time for its latest game machine…the 3DS.   Nintendo’s Kit Ellis…

“Ocarina of Time originally launched in 1998 for the Nintendo 64.  It was one of the first games that brought the series, which has been going on for 25 years now, into 3D meaning we went from traditional 2D graphics into something where you can actually see depth.  And we’re taking that 3D to the next level with this new game on Nintendo 3DS, where you actually have the stereoscopic 3D without the need for glasses.”

It’s bringing the magic of the franchise to a whole new generation of players.   You can find us with archives, full interviews and more at   I’m Fred Fishkin.
