New Artisan printers from Epson. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Epson has unveiled two new all-in-one printers in its Artisan line, featuring great photo printing and scanning ability. The Artisan 730 and Artisan 837, which adds faxing, both allow wireless printing and more from iPhones and iPads using Epson’s iPrint app. Product manager Kristi Lanzit….
“It’s available for free from the app store. And you can scan directly to your device and then you can email. You can actually print Web pages. It has a built in Web browser. And you can access your online documents like DropBox and Box.net and Google Docs and print directly from there as long as you’re connected to the same wireless network.”
The new printers are due to arrive in stores next month starting at about two hundred dollars. The iPrint app also works with a variety of existing Epson wireless printers. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
