Cooking with your iPad.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   You can find lots of recipes online and plenty apps to help you cook.    A company called CulinApp is trying to distinguish itself by turning some great cookbooks into an interactive experience.   The first one on the way  is based on Dorie Greenspan’s Baking with Dorie.   CulinApp CEO Bob Huntley the approach is to give users different recipe view and video options….and the iPad is more flexible in the kitchen than a TV screen…

“You have a TV in the kitchen now but you can’t randomly access the information, you can’t really start and stop different parts of it easily.   But that medium was there.  So the iPad brings it in, in a form that is more usable to the user to actually use as a learning tool.”
