A standard for 3D glasses. Well, almost. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Some of the biggest consumer electronics companies have at long last agreed to settle on a standard for active shutter 3D glasses. Sony, Samsung and Panasonic are partnering with XpanD to make 3D glasses less confusing to consumers and hopefully more affordable. The glasses from one manufacture’s TV would be usable on another’s.
