Star Wars fans will get their long awaited multiplayer online game this holiday season. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Star Wars The Old Republic is set to invade the online gaming universe in December and its already generating record pre-order for Electronic Arts. Lead writer Daniel Erickson says fans won’t be disappointed…
“We’re really coming and trying to bring story and narrative, for the first time, into the massively multiplayer online space, trying to bring a game that Star Wars fans across the board, whether or not they are hard core gamers or really have experience with online games, can easily get into, understand and maybe make their first foray into.”
There are eight different classes with hundreds of hours of game play that will keep fans busy for many months to come. The game is PC based with thirty days of play included. After that, you’ll need a subscription. May the force be with you. You can find us, with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
