Turning an iPhone into an immersive 360 degree camcorder.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    How do you make the cool iPhone 4 or 4S even cooler?   With a little snap on lens called Dot from Kogeto.    It records 360 degree video that can be shared through Facebook or Twitter or on Kogeto.com.   CEO Jeff Glasse….

“And we actually hold it like this.  And what it’s doing is it’s capturing 360 degrees of video as we speak.  No moving parts.  It just sees everything around us.  And then when I finish recording, you’ll see it just takes a few seconds to process and then once it’s done, you’ll see that donut view magically become ordinary looking still frame and that’s when I know I can play the video.  And you can see it sees both you and I but also everything else that’s happening around us.”

The price, about 80 dollars.   There’s more info at www.kogeto.com.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
