Transmitting HD TV wirelessly through walls and floors. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Got a spare TV but don’t want to pay for another cable or satellite box? Actiontec has a new solution on the market called MyWiressTV. Senior director of corporate marketing Lesley Kirchman…
“So you connect a transmitter to the HD device you want to stream content from, like your set top box or a Blu-ray player or Roku, a device such as that. And then you also put a receiver on the TV you want to receive the signal. And so what happens is the two boxes talk to each other and the transmitter sends its data over to the receiver who then puts it up on the screen.”
Set up is simple and it even works with 3D. You can use any remote that works with your set top box. The price, about 210 dollars. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
