Syncing your files everywhere. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The cloud based back up service Mozy is out with something new called Stash. And the idea, says Director of Product Management Gytis Barzdukas…
“What Stash does is it provides the ability to sync your data across multiple devices. So in addition to backing up the complete data set you now have a separate Stash folder. It would run on your Windows machine or your Mac machine, and then when you drop content into that folder that information would sync across multiple devices. So in a scenario where you might have an iPhone, an Android phone, maybe a Kindle Fire tablet or an iPad, have the ability to have that information actually pushed to those devices.”
It’s available with Mozy backup subscriptions or with its free accounts which are limited to 2 gigabytes. There’s more info at Mozy.com. You can find us, with a chance to win a free copy of TurboTax Premier Online at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
