With baseball season in full swing, take a few at bats with MLB 12 The Show. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. If you’re a baseball fan and you have either the PlayStation 3 or the new handheld PS Vita, you’ll want to join in the action with Sony Computer Entertainment’s MLB 12 The Show. What’s new this year? Ramone Russell was part of the development team on the game…
“I guess the biggest, that we’ve received the most feedback on so far, is the new ball physics that we’ve done this year. We basically started from scratch because our ball physics code wasn’t as good as we wanted it to be. And what we wanted to do was have every basic hit type in baseball that you could possibly have. And having all those extra hit types just makes it feel more dynamic in the field of play.”
If you own both the PS 3 and PS Vita versions…you can save a game on one platform and continue it on the other. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
