Tower speaker designed for a party. iHome's iP76.

A tower speaker designed for a party.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp,  a report on gadgets and gear.  It’s kind of like a flashback to the 70s.   iHome is out with the iP76 LED Color Changing Speaker Tower.   The idea, says director of marketing Evan Stein….was to create something unique….

“The first ever Bluetooth enabled tower speaker that changes color.  So we’ve got tons of different color modes.   You’ve got strobe light, you’ve got mood lighting, you’ve got slow change, you’ve got gradual change.  So it sets the mood at a party and has great sound.  Four speakers.  You dock your iPod or iPhone.  Or you can stream music wirelessly from Bluetooth.  You’ve got a party and your friend docks his unit and you don’t like the sound, you don’t like the tune,  you can pair up your Bluetooth and stream music that you’d prefer.”

Creating perhaps a tower of trouble.   The iP76, which stands about three feet tall,  lists for about two hundred dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
