An app that brings video from your phone or tablet…to your TV.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.  YouTube is built into lots of TVs, DVD players and game consoles today…but the problem can be navigation.   That’s where an app called Twonky Beam from PacketVideo can help.   Use your tablet or smartphone to do the navigating and then simply tap to send the content to your TV.  Chief Technology Officer Osama Al-Shayk….

“The Web connected TVs that it supports, it’s a wide range of devices.  One of them is actually the Apple TV.  So if you have an Apple TV in the home, if you have a Media Adaptor that is coming from Western Digital or other people.  Or if you have a TV that has a DLNA logo on it, all those devices and you’re connected to your Internet in the home, all those devices will be available for you to enjoy your multimedia on.”

Including music and photos.   The Twonky Beam apps are free.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
