Eye-Fi bumps up capacity and speed. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. There are more makers of digital cameras building in WiFi capability letting users send photos to computers, tablets and phones as they are taken. But if you don’t have that capability built in, an SD card from Eye-Fi is the answer. And the latest model the Pro X2, now features faster speeds and higher capacity. It holds 16 gigabytes and has a class 10 rating. VP Randhir Viera….
“So it’s great for people that take a lot of photos, capture content in JPEG and RAW format that they want written to the card very quickly and they want a lot of that content stored on the card before they transfer it.”
Another plus… Eye-Fi has kept the price at 99 dollars despite the increased speed and capacity. There are more fun and useful features you can learn about at eyefi.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
