New compact and capable printers from Brother.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Brother calls them their Business Smart Series of printers.   The first is the MFC J44510DW.  And the features are impressive.   It is compact, fast and amazingly able to produce prints that are up to 11 by 17 inches.  Marketing Director Marie Le….

“It is an amazing thing that this printer can print on paper that’s almost the same size as the machine itself.  How we’re able to do that is you can do that through feeding 11 by 17 paper through the rear bypass tray.   And the only reason why we could have enabled this machine to print 11 by 17 is because of this landscape orientation that we introduced.”
