That Talking Tom Cat app takes on a new dimension.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology Boot Camp, a report on gadgets and gears.    Outfit 7’s Talking Tom Cat app and its successors can be found on millions of smartphones.  And now the company is out with physical toys that interact with the apps.  They are called Talking Friends SuperStars and says Outfit 7 CEO Samo Login…

“These are app connected toys.  Toys that talk not to the apps but with the apps.  They work as an extended audience.”

They interact through a speaker that responds to sounds from the apps.

“We have three different SuperStar toys available.  Tom, Ginger and Angela.  And everyday we have more and more of our apps support these toys.”
