A cap with Bluetooth built in.  I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   A company called Max Virtual is wrapping a campaign on Indiegogo to fund production of the Cynaps cap.   What is it?  It is a cap with Bluetooth built in that lets you talk and and listen to music after pairing it with your mobile device.  And instead of covering your ears, it uses bone induction vibrations to transmit sound.  Product Developer Mike Freeman says it is a matter of safety while driving, jogging, walking or….

“I think biking is probably the number one safety situation.  You really need your ears because you don’t have any protection.  So you really need to be aware of any oncoming traffic and you definitely don’t want to have ear plugs or ear buds in when you’re biking.”
