Interchangeable lenses…for an iPod Touch?   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   When it comes to photography, it seems like most people are using  their always handy smartphones as their camera of choice.    A company called OlloClip has been helping iPhone users take better and more creative photos with an add on lens kit.   And now there’s an adapter for the 5th generation iPod Touch.  What can you do with the OlloClip?  CEO Patrick O’Neill…

“If you see something you want to take a picture of it just gives you a whole new look to your picture.  The fish-eye gives you a 180 degree field of view.  The wide angle gives you nearly double your field of view.  And the macro gives you about a 10 times magnification.”

The OlloClip sells for about 70 dollars.  And there’s a new telephoto version due soon…

"It’s going to be a two times telephoto.   You know if you go too powerful, you’re going to get a lot of camera shake and it’s going to be unusable.”

There’s more info at OlloClip.com.  You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
