Another big step for Voyager Mobile.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    Voyager Mobile is nearing its first anniversary as a mobile carrier started by NYU student John Mardini…and he’s been winning customers with unlimited talk plans for under 20 dollars and unlimited everything plans for under 40 dollars.   There’s no contract required…which typically means… you have to pay lots more for a smartphone since it isn’t subsidized.   But now, if you have an out of contract phone that operates on Sprint’s network, chances are you can use it on Voyager Mobile.   Founder John Mardini…

“Up front, you’re going to save that initial device investment.  If you’re bringing over a Galaxy S3, you’re going to save up front right around 600 dollars.  And then over time, obviously, we are America’s lowest cost unlimited wireless provider. ”

And there’s more to come with low cost international service arriving soon.    You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
