Pre-orders begin for a high tech fork. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The folks at a company called HapiLabs have begun a Kickstarter campaign that includes the chance to pre-order the HapiFork. What’s that? It is a fork designed to tell you when you are eating too fast. I know, your mother did that. But maybe she isn’t reminding you anymore. HapiLabs founder Fabrice Boutain…
“So HapiFork is going to have a gentle vibration when you eat too fast that is going to bring you back on the right pace. And this time, this interval, can be personalized, can be programmed, so every one of us can set up like 10, 15, 20 seconds between each time we bring the fork to the mouth.”
The Kickstarter campaign will run until the end of this month. The HapiFork, which can connect to computers and mobile devices, is slated to hit retail later this year for about a hundred dollars. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
