HTC One hands on

Techstination feature for Monday, June 17, 2013

Among this spring’s great new phones, the HTC One is a standout.  I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   With its solid feel, front facing speakers, quad core processor and superb camera technology, the hardware that went into the HTC One Android phone is impressive.   On top of that, on the software side, HTC has added what it calls BlinkFeed…

“It really pushes content to you from all your Facebook and all your social media as well as relevant news.  And what I’ve found with this experience is that it’s just giving you bite sized pieces of content.  It makes me more aware of my friends without really having to invest too much time and discover these things.  It’s just pushing this content to me.”

HTC’s Chris Park.  We’ve looked at the Sprint version of the HTC One.  It’s also on AT&T and T-Mobile with Verizon Wireless due later in the summer.  The only faults are the lack of expandable memory and battery life could be a bit better.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
