Actiontec delivers the ScreenBeam Pro.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   It is the first wireless display receiver designed to work with computers using Intel’s new 4^th generation chips.  But the new ScreenBeam Pro from Actiontec is useful if you  have a PC running previous versions of the technology called WiDi…or wireless display.   Essentially, the ScreenBeam Pro plugs into the HDMI port of your TV or projector and acts as a wireless HDMI connection.   Actiontec Senior Marketing Director Lesley Kirchman says beyond that…

“The device also works with any cell phone, tablet or a laptop that has Miracast inside of it.  Anything that you can see on a smaller screen,  you can now push it up to the television with the ScreenBeam Pro.”
