More new dSLR cameras from Canon.    I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    It won’t arrive for another couple of months, but Canon has been making some news with the announcement of the new EOS 70D.  It has an improved dual pixel image sensor and continuous autofocus for video.   The 70D will sell for about 13 hundred 50 dollars.    If you’re looking for a larger sensor, Canon’s most affordable full frame camera, the 6D, has a lot to like.  GPS and WiFi are built in and the image quality, as you would expect, is superb.   Canon USA Technical Advisor Chuck Westfall…

“It starts with a brand new image sensor and image processor.  It’s a 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and it’s now the Digic V + processor compared to the Digic IV.”

Pricing for the 6D body is about 19 hundred dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
