VTech’s new tablet for kids. The InnoTab 3. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BotCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It is smaller in size and in price. VTech has taken a bit of a different approach with the newest version of the InnoTab kids tablet arriving this month. Marketing Manager Beth Mackey says there are a couple of things that set it apart…
“The portability and the affordability. It comes with a 4.3 inch color touchscreen. All of our previous models had a 5 inch touchscreen and because of that it’s also smaller in size, lighter and more compact. It actually weighs about 3 and a half ounces less than our previous product.”
The InnoTab 3 has an upgraded camera, 2 gigabytes of memory with a card slot for expansion…and the price is under 70 dollars. There are more than a dozen apps built in and parents can add more through VTech’s Learning Lodge. Unlike the InnoTab 2S, there is no built in WiFi. It runs on triple A batteries but there is an optional rechargeable battery pack. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
