Microsoft gives Halo fans a reason to switch to Windows Phone 8.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   It’s no secret that it has been a battle for Microsoft Windows Phone 8 to gain traction against iOS and Android.   Now Microsoft is hoping that by bringing Halo Spartan Assault to its mobile platform…it will give gamers a reason to switch.   Microsoft Windows Phone Senior Product Manager Greg Sullivan…

“Well it will be very familiar.  The detail in the graphics.  The richness in the characters.  The content and the detailed universe that has been created by 343 Industries and in the Halo franchise is all there in this game.  And so it will be very familiar to folks who have played Halo on the Xbox.”
