Arriving this month…another new version of Madden from EA Sports.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     Madden NFL 25, the latest incarnation of EA’s popular sports video game franchise, arrives on August 27^th.    So what new features can fans expect?   Creative Director Mike Young says first on the list is technology called Run Free…

“And Run Free is a suite of new running tools, there’s over thirty new running back moves.  We’re now using the left trigger as a precision modifier, which kind of lets you go slower as you find those holes or pump fake, kind of like a Walter Payton where you pull up for a little bit.  And then the right trigger is the speed burst.  So, it’s really about using your creativity to set up defenders.”
