Samsung breaks new ground with its OLED curved TV.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   It has a picture that is simply brilliant, it is slightly curved and it will set you back about 9 thousand dollars.   But that’s below the competition,  below what many had expected and prices will eventually come down.   Beyond that, the 55 inch Samsung OLED screen will let two people …wearing 3D type glasses….watch different shows at the same time.   Executive VP Joe Stinziano…

“It’s really cool.  Let’s say my wife and I are sitting next to each other and it’s an afternoon and I want to watch a little football and she wants to watch her program.  We can sit side by side watching the same TV, but with the 3D glasses on, I’m watching one program in full HD and she’s watching another program in full HD and we each have our audio source in our earbuds.”
