“So what they’re doing is they’re giving their full date of birth.  Their full home address.  Their phone number, the name of the school they attend.  All these are pieces of their identity.  Again, they’re not necessarily going out there and publishing their social security number, but all these unique identifiers make up their identity.  When combined with more information, in the wrong hands, could lead to identity theft.”
