Playing smartphone games without the battery drain

Playing games on smartphones…without the battery drain.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Lots of us spend time playing games on our phones and a company called PowerA has made it more like traditional video gaming with its line of Moga controllers.   But playing games can mean there’s not much battery left when you need to use your phone for other things…like making a call.    So PowerA is adding batteries to its new Pro Power and Hero Power controllers.   Chief Marketing Officer Rob Martin….

“The Pro will come with a 22 hundred milliamp hour battery and the Hero, the smaller, travel sized version, will come with an 18 hundred milliamp hour battery.  And with the ability to charge your phone, you can start your game session and end your game session and when you end, you will end with more or equal battery life.”

The controllers, like their predecessors, connect to your phone via Bluetooth.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
