Dyson uses its technology in a new dual purpose cleaning machine. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It’s called the Dyson Hard DC56…a cordless cleaner designed for hard floors that uses the company’s V2 motor….for suction along with a wet wipe pad. It essentially vacuums and mops at the same time. Dyson senior design engineer Robert Green….
“In one swipe you’re able to pick up any of the loose dust and dirt and then with the wet wipe we’re removing any of the stubborn dried on stuff. And then a lot of the sort of technology that people have come to know and expect from Dyson, no loss of suction Cyclones and then we have our latest motor technology powering the whole machine, making sure that we get the same vacuum performance people know and expect from a Dyson machine.”
The cleaning is impressive. And as people have come to expect with the Dyson brand, the price is on the high end…at about 329 dollars. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
