Bargain priced Samsung tablet from Sprint

Techstination feature for Monday, October 14, 2013

Ready for a tablet at a bargain price?   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    We’ve seen it with smartphones.   Now here come the tablets.   Sprint has just started selling the 7 inch version of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 for under 50 dollars.   That is with a contract….but that can run as little as 5 dollars a month.  But most people will probably want more than the 25 megabytes of data under that plan.  Sprint Communications Manager Mark Elliott….

“We also have ten dollar, fifteen dollar, 34.99 and a 49.99 plan that gives you up to 6 gigabytes of data.

The specs on the 7 inch Galaxy Tab 3 may not be quite as robust as some competitors like Google’s Nexus 7, but that will cost you over two hundred dollars.   It does feature Android 4.2 and can take advantage of Sprint’s 4G LTE network where available.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
