What does your watch tell you? The Tikker.

What does your watch tell you?    I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   There are smart watches that can connect to your email and Facebook accounts.   There are fitness watches that count steps, calories and even monitor your heart rate.   And then there is a watch coming to market called the Tikker.  T I K K E R.    It is designed to tell you, approximately, how much time you have left.  And we mean have left, period.   Founder Fredrik Colting says wearers need to fill out a questionnaire to start with…

“But it’s very simple questions like if you are a smoker, etcetera.   And you deduct your current age and you get a number.   And that number you set the Tikker to and the countdown starts from there.”

While some call it the death watch….Colting says it can help you make better choices…by reminding you how much time you likely have left.   The price…59 dollars.  There’s more info at MyTikker.com.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
