This should be a big year for video games.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   With the newly arrived PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft, look for some spectacular new games this year that can start to take advantage of the powerful new consoles.   Video game champ Athene is looking forward to seeing what’s next and he doesn’t mind sharing his opinions…

“PS4 is technically superior to the Xbox.   But Xbox One has better launch titles, so they’re also doing pretty well.   We will see if they will be able to keep up the competition.  Because you have PC gaming being bigger than ever.  You also have the mobile gaming platform growing.   So I really wonder how this generation of consoles will do compared to the previous ones.”
