A better calendar app for your iPhone or iPad.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     Calendar apps would seem to be pretty basic things.   But a company called Alminder has come up with a way to improve on the calendar that Apple includes with iOS.  It’s called Mynd…m..y..n..d.  CEO Max Wheeler….

“The calendar that you have, that comes on your phone, is just a record.  You write down in it what I want to do and it tells you back…here’s what it is you wanted to do.  The Mynd calendar has location features, so it’ll interpret the location or the address that you put in your calendar.  It’ll look at and predict where you’re coming from and where you’re going to so it can give you how much time it’s going to take to get there and if there’s traffic it will tell you, hey, now it’s time to leave.”
