Some new tech is coming to high speed blenders.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   The folks at BlendTec….are still creating those crazy Will it Blend videos…throwing everything from the newest iPhones to cameras in their blenders.    Fun and expensive…but BlendTec  founder Tom Dickson gets lots of attention on YouTube and dedicated Web site…WillItBlend.com.   And at the same time…it shows just how well made the company’s blenders are.  Use one, and it’s hard not to be impressed.   Now, CEO Craig Taylor says…making those powerful motors more quiet has been one goal…

“We’re going to continue to innovate on sound, but also just innovating on the experience.  There’s a science behind blending and there’s a science behind the cycle times.  Imagine the day when there can be Bluetooth connectivity even to a blender or even the ability to pre-program cycles from your home.”
