Smarter robotic toys coming from Spin Master.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Spin Master had one of the top techie toys this past holiday season with Zoomer…a playful robotic dog that won an industry award as the most innovative toy of the year.  This year, Zoomer is getting even smarter and will have some new companions.   Associate Brand Manager Lauren Wong…the new products include Zuppies…puppy versions of Zoomer….and Boomer Dino…

“So he balances on two wheel feet with gyro accelerometers.  He’s got articulated neck and tail movement and you play with him autonomously with your hands or you can pick up the remote control pod , try to send him on attack, put him in guard mode so he’ll attack your parents or you can even make him dance.”
