Seagate goes bigger & smaller with external drives

Seagate goes bigger and smaller with external drives.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    With many thin and light notebook computers featuring solid state drives today…you may not have all the room you need for storing photos and videos.    You can opt for cloud storage but if you need certain access external drives have the edge.    And Seagate has gone both big and small with solutions.   VP Scott Horn…

“We’ve got our first ever and the industry’s first four terabyte portable drive.  It’s the Seagate Back Up Plus Fast.  And it has four terabytes, it’s twice as fast as any other drive out there.  It has USB 3.0.  It’s a great product.  People want to carry all their movies with them.”

And then on the small side..

“We have a new version of Back Up Plus Slim, which is literally the thinnest hard drive you can buy out there.”

And the Back Up Plus Slim with a two terabyte drive sells for under 120 dollars.   You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
