Bringing an iPad to the Seder table. The Bronfman Haggadah app.

Techstination feature for Thursday, April 3, 2014

Bringing an iPad to the Seder table for the Jewish holiday of Passover.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    To some…it may not seem right.  But to others… why not?   The rich, beautiful Haggadah created by the late Edgar Bronfman and his artist wife Jan Aronson have been brought to life in digital form for iOS devices.    Aronson says it adds features not possible in print…

“For example, we are able to add some animation which surprises every now and again as you’re turning the virtual pages of the book.  Another thing that you’re able to do is see interviews with me and Edgar.  You can also go to a glossary.  We didn’t have that in the original Haggadah where certain terms are defined.  And there’s also singing of a couple of songs.”

For those celebrating Passover,  the Bronfman Haggadah app, which sells for 8.99, can liven the celebration.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
