What’s great about the HTC One M8?   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    It isn’t easy these days for smart phone makers to generate a whole lot of excitement around the release of new devices.     They are making them bigger, faster and with better cameras.    But often the improvements are incremental.    The new HTC One M8 is better is a number of ways than the previous version.   But what really stands out is its battery life.   I’m not crazy about the idea that it is not user replaceable.   But the battery lasts longer than what I’ve seen in any other smartphone I’ve checked out.   Impressive, especially considering that big five inch screen.    HTC Americas President Jason Mackenzie…
