“So Blind Spot Information System is a little LED indicator on your side view mirror.  And if a vehicle comes into your blind spot, it will blink at you.   Cross Traffic Alert is actually one of my favorite ones.  You’re parked in a parking spot and you have an SUV on the one side and maybe a truck on the other side and you’re not able to really see accurately.  Cross Traffic Alert will give you a signal beep as well as put a little message in your cluster saying that you’ve got a vehicle coming from either the left or right.”
