Streaming from the deep. The grandson of famed ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau prepares for Mission 31. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Fabien Cousteau is in the final stages of preparation for Mission 31. He and his crew of six will be living and working for 31 days in the Aquarius undersea lab 9 miles off the Florida Keys. It comes fifty years after his grandfather built the first underwater habitat. And it will all be streamed live online…
“One of the easiest ways to connect with us is to go to our Web site, which is Mission-31.com. And if you want to keep an eye on the countdown timer, it will tell you exactly when we’ll splash down and then the cameras will go live so you can check in with us and see what we’re doing at any given time of day or night as well as having conversations with us.”
The mission is scheduled to begin on June 1st. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
