The latest robotic toy from WowWee arrives.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    It’s called MiP…a little robot that balances on two wheels and can be controlled via hand gestures and smart phones.   Brand Manager Andrew Yanofsky…

“Basically the way you play with him is you pick him up and turn his right wheel.  Every time you turn his right wheel, a color will appear on his chest.  Each color is a different game.  So you can do things like control him with your hands.  You can stack objects on a tray table that comes with him.  MiP can actually handle payloads to the tune of his own weight.  So I can actually take a tray table, attach it to MiP, put a can of Coke on top of it and then teach him to deliver it across the table, which is pretty cool.”

It is.    The apps expand the fun…dancing, follow the leader and more.  And there are games you can play with more than one.  MiP sells on WowWee’s Web site for about a hundred dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
