More momentum for Chromebooks.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Chromebooks are notebook computers that use Google’s Chrome platform and for the most part use the Cloud for storing apps and data.   They are inexpensive…and update themselves automatically… big reasons for their growing popularity.   Now the number one PC maker, Lenovo, has announced its first Chromebooks for the consumer market.  They are the N20 and the touch screen N20p.  Lenovo ambassador Ashley Rodrigue…

“They’re thin and light weight.  They’ll weigh under three pounds at about 2.8 pounds.  They’re 17.9 millimeters thin.  They both have a similar configuration on the inside.  You’ll find an Intel Celeron quad core processor.  We’ve got up to four gig of memory and sixteen gig of internal storage.”

Battery life is an impressive eight hours…and pricing starts at just 279 dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
