Better pictures and styling in the newest flat screens from Vizio. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Vizio is rolling out its 2014 M Series TVs and for consumers there are lots of changes big and small. Product Marketing Manager Carlos Angulo…says there’s a slimmer bezel for fitting more TV in less space. And…
“We’ve enhanced our Smart TV platform adding new apps and re-designing existing experiences like from Netflix, Amazon and Hulu and introducing a QWERTY keyboard remote, so it’s a two sided remote with a keyboard. By far, the biggest improvement that you’ll see with our 2014 M Series collection is that we’ve moved away from edge lit backlighting to full array LED backlighting. And what that gives you is superior light uniformity.”
And a 42 inch M series TV is priced at about five hundred dollars with sizes going all the way up to 70 inches. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
