A simple tech gadget that can save the life of baby or a pet. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It seems to happen all too frequently. People leaving babies or pets in a hot car with tragic consequences. A company called Babeep has been raising funds on Indiegogo to release a gadget that would give drivers a reminder. CEO David Avital…
“So this device is actually a simple reminder that when you turn off the engine, it gives you a random baby sound to look before you lock. So it’s basically a logical extension to your already alerts in the car like the reverse sound, like the seatbelt. There are so many alerts and we created a reminder for parents, to reboot their mind in that busy world to look before they leave the car because maybe there is a baby in the back.”
It plugs into the power outlet of the car and will sell for about forty dollars. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
