Making those GoPro videos even more pro.  I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    The folks who brought the Steadicam to Hollywood are out with a new version of the gadget designed for GoPro cameras.   GoPro has won millions of fans around the world for its tiny, high quality video cameras that can literally go anywhere.   Steadicam maker Tiffen has taken notice and VP Rick Booth says…

“This is the new Steadicam Curve.  Works with all the GoPro cameras.    99 dollars.  And so this is designed for the action sports guy.  So the guy who wants to shoot his buddy who has got maybe the GoPro on his helmet.  So here I’m using it like a traditional Steadicam as you can see.  So maybe I’m on the ski slope, I’m standing there, I’m shooting my buddy who’s on a snowboard.  What I can also do is lock it down,  so now I’ve got a steady grip.”
