Tech to make that trip to the dentist less scary.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Fear of those needles used by dentists has kept plenty of patients away.   But more and more offices are using a computer controlled system called the Wand that eliminates the pain and fear.  It was developed by Milestone Scientific where Dr. Mark Hochman is Director of Clinical Affairs…

“We have a computer controlled system that we use a micro needle.  And we’re able to enter the needle through the tissue very, very, very comfortably.   And then as the fluid going into those tissues you no longer experience that burning or that very acute kind of pain.  So it virtually eliminates pain on all kinds of dental injections and medical injections.”
