The changing face of back to school tech.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   For lots of families…buying new technology for back to school doesn’t mean a big desktop PC or even a traditional notebook computer anymore.   Tablets and two in one tablet/notebooks are gaining more attention these days as are Chromebooks.   Two in one machines like the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and the Acer Aspire Switch 10 have the capability, with Intel’s 4^th generation core processors, to run demanding software with full keyboards while still being able to convert to tablets.   Intel’s Dan Snyder says not everyone needs that capability…

“If you want a device more for consumption, to watch videos, for training and things like that, you could get a tablet or a smaller device.”
