The new Heros from GoPro

The new Heros from GoPro.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   GoPro’s success in the wearable action camera business has spawned lots of competition.  But the leader isn’t standing still long enough to notice.   The new GoPro Hero4 Silver is amazing thin and light and includes a built in touch display.   Senior Director of Product Management Paul Osborne calls it…

“One of the most advanced designs we’ve done with essentially building in another backpack into a very small form factor camera to really move the bar forward in terms of ease of use in controlling a very professional level of image capture.”

The Hero4 Silver is no slouch on still shooting either …capable of taking 12 megapixel photos at 30 frames per second.  It has built in WiFi and Bluetooth…can be controlled by GoPro apps and sells for about 400 dollars.   Other new GoPros are on the higher and lower end…including the basic Hero at about 130 dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
