A robotic dog gets some companions.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    Spin Master’s Zoomer robotic dog has been a top toy over the last year.   For this holiday season…there are some robotic companions.  Communications manager Josh Tucker…

“We’ve got a couple of new breeds in the dog category.  Zoomer, our pup, is now joined by his friends Bentley and Shadow.  We’ve got a German shepherd and a beagle.  We’ve also introduced a puppy line, so they’re at a lower price point.  We’ve got Zoomer Zuppies.   Those guys come with all kinds of technology.  They’re not necessarily a robot but they’ve got all kinds of great motion sensors.  You can play a lot of different mini games, touch sensors in their heads.  And then something we’re really excited about in the Zoomer line, is our Zoomer Dino Boomer.  And he is an absolutely incredible toy.  He’s got motion sensors in his nose, he rolls around on two wheels with gyro stabilization.  He’s a really great interactive toy.”

You can find it for about eighty dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
