Some added room on that iPhone or iPad.    I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    When it comes to how much memory to spring for when buying an iPhone, iPad or other device where you can’t simply pop in a memory card, I’m a fan of buying the most your wallet will allow.   Photos, videos and music …not to mention apps…can take up a lot of space.   The folks at SanDisk have a new solution out for iOS users that can be a big help, though.   VP Dinesh Bahal….

“It’s called the iXpand Flash Drive.   And it has a standard USB port at one end and a Lightning port at the other end.  You plug it in and the companion app enables you to automatically transfer your pictures and videos from your iPhone, to the flash drive from where you can see it on your PC or share it with another iOS device.”

The iXpand is simple to use and we’ve seen the 32 gigabyte version selling for under sixty dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
