Will Santa arrive on a drone?     I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Well Santa may not arrive on a drone just yet….but in lots of households he may be delivering one.   For grown ups…the new five hundred dollar BeBop Drone from Parrot looks like a fun choice that takes great video and stills and is easy to control with a smartphone.   For kids…Skyrocket Toys has a couple of models on the market starting at about fifty dollars for the Sky Viper X Quad.   John Ardell is VP of sales and marketing…

“It does indoor-outdoor flying.  It has six axis stabilization so it’s really easy to fly and does one button stunts.  So it’s real easy to do flips and stunts with it.  And we have another version called the Sky Viper Camera Drone which actually does all of that but has a built in camera.  So it takes 30 minutes of video footage or 25 thousand pictures.”
